InfoSHIP is able to satisfy the ever increasing market demands for technology, flexibility and ease of use. The application, which conciliates these fundamental requirements with the power of a real Client/Server, brilliantly meets the needs of a wide and diverse usership both with regard to sector and specific task:

SHIP DIVISION: hierarchy structure (section, plant, machinery, component) with details of sub-items (spare parts) and graphic treeview with direct access to machinery cards, spare parts data and linked activities.
MASTERS DATA: Item management of all types and with dedicated masks: spare parts, consumables (ISSA and/or IMPA database integration), hotel items (carpets, furniture, etc…), services and jobs with price lists for external companies; shipping agencies, ports, makers, suppliers (with reliability levels and certificates).
PURCHASING: complete purchasing including approval levels; Purchase requisitions of materials, services and repairs; requests for quotations, quotations with comparison of price of and other conditions; complete ordering process (order issue, receipt of goods, quality check, invoice check, payment authorization), remote order positioning (via internet).
MATERIAL MANAGEMENT: allows the identification of materials by class (spare parts, consumables, hotel items, …), classification according to parameters i.e. criticity and hazardousness, management (under-stock, reordering points, forseen availability, average costs, last price, FIFO, LIFO evaluations) and management of storerooms/locations, material movement management from storeroom to storeroom (ship-shore, ship-ship, …).
MAINTENANCE: unplanned and planned maintenance, with estimation of manpower and spare parts requirements ; due dates based on counters or on calendar; form management for maintenance works; management of linked, included and alternative works .
AUTOMATION CONNECTION: Automation system data acquisition, for statistical analysis of ship performance.
COST CONTROL: individual budget systems for technical office and ship, with cost plans based on parametrical and hierarchical levels, and project management (e.g. dry-dock works) which allows cost control by destination and typology, using Activity Based Costing principles.
DOCUMENT MANAGEMENT: attachment of tables or files (Ms-Excel, Ms-Word, Cad, …), or images of all formats to mask of machinery, spare parts, maintenance, purchase requests.
DATA IMPORT/EXPORT: Activation and time-setting of data import/export procedures from ship to technical offices and also from InfoSHIP and other software used.

InfoSHIP also offers the ENTERPRISE version, which includes, if necessary and besides the InfoSHIP application in "object" format, the "source" format and C.A.S.E. development tool (Computer Aided Software Engineering).
